Caddyshack!! This course was the setting for the movie, and was filmed here. A private and exclusive club with an obvious great history to it. The club was originally called Rolling Hills Country Club, and was renamed Grande Oaks Golf Club when it was purchased by Wanye Huizenga. It is now owned by the Nova Southeastern University, which preserves its spot as an elite private club. The 18-hole course was recently renovated, and provides a sanctuary for the members to enjoy a great round of golf at their leisure. The golf academy is one of the best in the area, sitting on 40 acres of professionally maintained practice tees, bunkers, traps, fairways and rough playing surfaces. In addition to the practice greens, the academy boasts two hitting bays equipped with a state-of-the-art V1 swing analyzer. The club is a great place to get away, and with it’s central location is a perfect option for anyone in the Fort Lauderdale area. This is a club-only facility, so membership is not based on property purchase. As such, you can live anywhere in the area, but the most convenient location is on the course at The Lake Estates at Rolling Hills, with homes for sale ranging from $500,000- $2 Million
